"Working with Hans was a blast! It was the first time I saw my work colored by another artist, and it looked amazing. He's got a really cool style and totally captured the vibe. He is incredibly creative. His bold color choices and unique style really brought my characters to life. I hope we can do more comics together soon."

"When I've collaborated with Hans, he has been an absolute professional, all while being extremely kind and friendly. Not only has working with him been great and he's able to put out stellar work quickly, but he's also given me great advice regarding the ins and outs of making comics that I still use to this day."

"I have no idea how Hans does it, but he somehow manages to make every project look like it was touched by pure design genius. Seriously, I gave him the vaguest ideas like ‘make this pop’ and ‘give it that thing,’ and he’d just nod, laugh, and then boom—masterpiece! Every time!
Hans not only exceeded my expectations; he redefined them. My life is now divided into two phases: ‘Before Hans’ and ‘After Hans’—and let me tell you, the ‘After Hans’ era is a design dream. His attention to detail, combined with his sharp sense of humor, made working together a breeze. Plus, he managed to make my questionable color choices look like bold, intentional statements. It’s like he has a sixth sense for saving people from themselves.
Would I recommend him? Only if you like working with someone talented, hilarious, and able to transform your vision into something better than you imagined. So, yeah, 1000%."

“I commissioned Hans to design a logo portfolio to create merch for my brand. We met to discuss themes and styles that would work for me, and he was able to provide a lot of creative spark with his library of prior work as well as fonts and textures he thought would fit. We agreed to a basic package and I provided some inspiration photos.
Flash forward to a few weeks later: the art was ready and it was great! Hans took my specifications and ran with it. He provided a fighting kittens image that exactly met my specs, and fleshed out the package with black/rainbow hearts, different text styles and variations on my name and tagline, and bonus word art.
I used the art to order several rounds of stickers that helped raise my profile locally and gave me an opportunity to fundraise. It was great to have multiple designs I could use at different times—they were different enough to earn repeat purchases and to be interesting to different people. I recommended Hans to many of my teammates who have also commissioned designs! Thanks so much for getting my brand off the ground!”

“When our non-profit group needs design-work for events, T-shirts and other promotional or educational materials, we turn to Fink Ink Inc! Hans is able to take our basic ideas and turn them into incredible designs that catch a lot of attention and sell really well!
His Murder Pickle design is currently our top seller and more importantly, it is a huge conversation starter that helps bring attention to our mission! He is very easy to work with, has a unique style, and gives great suggestions that have really enhanced the work he’s done for us.
It’s always a pleasure to work with him and we look forward to many more projects together.”

The Fink Behind the Ink
Hans Fink is the creative force behind Fink Ink Inc, combining professional comic production expertise with deep editorial experience. After cutting his teeth in print production as Editor-in-Chief at Skinnie Entertainment Magazine (and contributing to publications like Music Connection and Culture), Hans has developed a distinctive approach to professional comic design that merges technical expertise with underground energy.
Born from a childhood spent dissecting the genius of Calvin & Hobbes and The Far Side, through teenage years consumed by Marvel & DC titles like X-Men and Batman, Hans's comic sensibilities evolved dramatically after discovering genre-defying game-changers like Preacher and Transmetropolitan. These works revealed the comic medium’s potential to tell any story, break any rule, and push any boundary.
Today, Fink Ink Inc specializes in comic book production that hits hard and looks sharp. From digital comic coloring and gritty pinup art to designing satirical parody ads and iconic trade dress, the studio brings both technical precision and creative edge to every project. Recent work includes the bizarrE body horror of The VEiN with David Le Compte, the horror-comedy mini-comic BRAINS, and upcoming projects such as Flargle snorpledork: Space Attorney and the PULP ODDITIES anthology.
Beyond traditional comics, Fink Ink Inc translates this same energy into print projects and Merch designs that command attention and deliver impact. Whether it's murderous cacti or furry martial arts mascots, the studio helps clients stand out by injecting comic DNA into their visual identity. Hans's style draws from decades of comic evolution and underground culture, creating work that's professionally executed but never loses its bite.
